Sara and Kevin have been cottaging in the Southampton area for over 20 years. First introduced to the area by Sara’s best friend and now Inn Keeper (Colleen), they fell in love with the area instantly. Colleen and Sara got to spend many summers up here when their kids were young and enjoyed the weekday mornings at the Southampton Tennis club watching the kids run around hitting balls, followed by visits to the ice cream parlour and long lazy days on the beach. This is a very special place that they always knew they would end up living in full time.

When the Inn came up for sale, truth be told, they went to look at it with a friend who has always wanted to start a restaurant. It wasn’t what their friend was looking for, but Sara & Kevin immediately fell in love with the history and charm of the building and decided to make the leap.

They are all now excited to help build on the traditions of the Inn that our customers have come accustomed to, and bring some fresh and exciting ideas for making your experience in Southampton exceptional.

We spent 2021 and early 2022 freshening up the Inn to make it welcoming for our guests and we opened our doors officially May 2022. And what a season we had !! 2022 was a year of learning and growing and FUN. We hosted so many guests and we completely full for the months of June-Sept! We had returning guests and lots of new people who had just discovered us and the Southampton area. The feedback was so positive, the most common sentiment was that people just loved being able to park their car for days and never have to drive anywhere with the beach, dining and shopping all steps away. One guest even said “so many places say they are steps away from the beach or town .. but you REALLY ARE just steps away from everything!”

We also spent time in the fall of 2022 landscaping the gardens and patio. This is going to open so many new doors for our 2023 guests, especially the new side patio where we will be serving breakfast on nice days in the summer !

We also hosted many events (See events section of the website) and are working on a bunch of exciting new experiences for our guests in 2023.
